What's New at Four Seasons Jackson Hole: This Season's Changes

Posted on: September 17, 2026

Ask anyone who has owned at Four Seasons Jackson Hole for more than a few seasons what January used to feel like, and you'll get some version of the same answer: the holiday crowd flew home around January 2nd, Presidents' week was still six weeks out, and for that stretch in between, Teton Village often felt quieter. Handle Bar had open stools. A table at the property's steakhouse didn't require calling ahead. That gap was a predictable lull between busier travel periods.

Restaurant Week added a new event to that mid-January stretch in 2026.

A New Event in the Mid-January Calendar

The mid-January lull at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort has been reliable for decades because the two things that drive traffic here, holiday visitors and destination skiers timing their trip to Presidents' week, don't overlap. Locals learned to anticipate that gap. It was a period when getting a table at Steadfire's predecessor could be easier, even without a reservation made a month out.

That rhythm held for sixty seasons. In the resort's 60th anniversary year, the Teton Village Association scheduled a new event during that period.

Why January 9th Looked Different This Year

From January 9 through 16, 2026, Teton Village ran its first-ever Restaurant Week, a village-wide event built around three-course prix-fixe dinners priced at $49, timed specifically to celebrate Jackson Hole Mountain Resort's 60th season. Village Director Meghan Quinn framed it as a chance to showcase what the base area's kitchens could do at an accessible price point. In its report on the event, Dishing Jackson Hole quoted Quinn: "Teton Village has always been about connection."

What made it more than a marketing calendar entry for the neighborhood is who signed on. Corsa, Shin Shin, Mangy Moose, Tram Dock, The Spur, Il Villaggio Osteria, Wild Pine, Alpenhof Bistro, and Piste all participated. So did Handle Bar, the slopeside pub that sits inside Four Seasons itself.

Restaurant Week was not limited to the anniversary edition. It ran again from September 7 through 13, 2026, this time with lunch and dinner tiers at $29 and $49, timed to overlap with the Teton Village Art & Culinary Fair. Handle Bar participated again.

Restaurant Week had two editions in eight months, one in January and one in September.

The Restaurant Wearing a New Name

The dining scene at Four Seasons changed in a second way in 2025, and it's easy to read it as unrelated to the Restaurant Week story. It isn't. On July 14, 2025, Steadfire Chophouse opened where Westbank Grill had operated for years, built around a menu the resort describes as rooted in Wyoming ranching heritage, sourcing beef, bison and game from regional ranches. Executive Chef Michael Goralski has talked about the shift as an evolution rather than a replacement, noting that much of his kitchen staff had been with Four Seasons since the early 2000s and spent years working the line at Westbank Grill before the concept changed around them. The name on the door is new. The hands doing the cooking largely aren't.

That distinction matters if you're the kind of owner who used to walk in and greet the same server by name every visit. The room changed. The people mostly didn't. What did change is Steadfire's visibility in the wider Village conversation, a modern chophouse getting press attention right as the base area started coordinating its dining calendar for the first time in the resort's history.

Other Four Seasons Venues

Another Four Seasons offering is 80 Proof, a speakeasy-style bar added during a 2024 property refresh led by the locally based firm CLB Architects. The bar is hidden behind a painting and open daily from 5 to 11 p.m. The refresh also added First Chair, a mountainside grab-and-go market adjacent to Westbank Grill's old spot.

80 Proof was not listed among Restaurant Week participants in either edition. The speakeasy remains another on-property option for Four Seasons guests.

What This Means For How You Book This Winter

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort opens its 2026-27 season on November 27, 2026. Restaurant Week has now taken place twice in 2026, in January and September. If the Village schedules another edition for winter, check the dates and restaurant reservation details as you plan your visit.

The property has also received industry recognition. In June 2026, Four Seasons Jackson Hole received the inaugural CondĆ© Nast Traveler Triple Crown Award. It was also named the top hotel and resort in Wyoming in the 2026 U.S. News & World Report rankings, and it holds an 18-year run as a Forbes Five-Star property. These honors add to the resort’s record of recognition.

None of this changes what makes Four Seasons Four Seasons. The mountain is still the mountain. The village calendar now includes Restaurant Week in both winter and late summer, alongside the resort's other offerings.
